2009 Daily Journal of Commerce First Place Award in Private Buildings

As an innovative six-story, 27,500 sq. ft. mixed-use building in downtown Corvallis, the Elements Building proves how much can be accomplished with sustainable construction. Learn more. The building’s first three floors are dedicated to 7Stones, a holistic destination spa. The fourth floor features office space, and floors five and six house the Strega restaurant and bar that provides unparalleled views of the city below. The project is one of the first buildings in the Mid-Willamette Valley to earn the LEED Silver rating.

Agilent Technologies

Corvallis, Oregon

This “Class A” commercial office building encompasses 60,000 sq. ft. Site-cast concrete tilt walls frame the exterior structure. Structural steel, steel bar joists, and cast decks on metal decking support the interior. Construction work entailed installing numerous special finishes and sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems to accommodate the company’s high-tech needs. We completed the project on a fast-track schedule, within budget.

Kutsch & Reyner Family & Cosmetic Dentistry

Albany, Oregon

We received a Contractor’s Association award for finish carpentry craftsmanship for this 6,000 sq. ft. dental clinic, which was featured in the September 2003 edition of Dr. of Dentistry magazine. We built the clinic using the “Blue-Max” insulated wall system and wood beam roof system. It features highly detailed finishes on both the interior and exterior of the building.

ATS Tooling Systems

Corvallis, Oregon

We completed this design-build project in partnership with a local design team. The 58,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility consists of concrete tilt-up construction with a steel roof. We prepared pricing packages, budgets, and schedules for all elements of the project and worked with the owner’s representative throughout the construction phase to ensure completion of a high-quality facility.
